The Green Effect services provides certified applicators & authorized assistants to apply herbicides and pesticides to natural areas, parks and fields , hard surfaces, shrubs beds and other green spaces for weeds and invasive species and pest control. We are committed to providing quality service in a manor that insures a safe and healthy work enviroment for citizens, customers and employees while minimizing enviromental impact. The Green Effect operates in compliance and uses pollution prevention and enviromental best practices in all work preformed.
We at The Green Effect we follow the Alberta Environment IPM (Integrated Pest Management) approach. This means we only use weed control when necessary, If your lawn is weed-free we will use product that keeps it weed-free, e.g. fertilizer, soil conditioners, soil enrichers etc. We at The Green Effect care for the environment and to reduce our environmental impact, we will only apply chemical to your lawn when necessary.
If we apply any product on your property, you will be notified via Email in addition to leaving a service notice on your front door detailing the service and a Green Effect lawn sign.
